What it demonstrates
The project explores an evidence-first assurance pattern for Nutanix operations: configure Prism Central or Prism Element connection profiles, run read-only probes, schedule health checks, capture evidence manifests, export archives, and keep RBAC and audit trails around sensitive operational controls.
Current evidence
- Public source repository, README, and live static dashboard demo.
- v0.1.0 lab-first implementation with explicit readiness gates.
- Prism Central and Prism Element read-only API probes through configured connections.
- PostgreSQL-backed Docker/appliance deployment path, with SQLite fallback for local development.
- Local bearer sessions, persisted users, roles, permissions, and audit events.
- Evidence manifests, raw collector references, archive exports, retention policy, and restore-drill controls.
- Appliance runbook, lab validation plan, test matrix, traceability matrix, and GitHub publication guide.
Boundary
The demo uses sample data. The project is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Nutanix. The current boundary is read-only operational assurance: mutating Prism actions, production NCC execution over SSH, and production assurance claims remain out of scope until readiness gates and lab evidence support them.
